Chasing dreams

I am Marit, 32 years old and come from Utrecht. Here I live together with my boyfriend Jasper and son Brandt (credits to him because also a model on photos and in videos). I work in marketing, and do this as a freelancer. For years I have dreamed of setting up my own webshop, but I did not dare to take the plunge because I had no idea where to start. But now I am finally going to try!

Handmade, unique products for baby & kids

For Unknown Stories I went looking (and still do) for the most beautiful, handmade and especially unique interior products and accessories for baby & kids. These items come from all over the world, think of Indonesia, India & Morocco. I have traveled to many countries, and always find it special to see how many products are handmade by craftsmen.

Stories behind the makers

I want to collect the special 'unknown stories' that are hidden behind the makers of the products and share them with you, so that we can transfer them to the new generation through the various beautiful products that you bring into your home. And importantly: with the products that are sold through Unknown Stories I also want to support the local population.

Hopefully you, and of course all the little ones, will be as happy as I am! And if you have any fun ideas, feedback, or are missing something, I would love to hear it.
